Senior Finance & Accounting Lead

📋 Description

• Oversee the complete financial accounting process, ensuring accuracy in monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.

• Support financial modeling, budgeting, and board-level reporting to align with long-term business objectives.

• Create and execute scalable financial systems and internal controls to boost efficiency.

• Handle tax submissions, statutory audits, and adhere to regulatory requirements.

• Ensure the business remains proactive and ahead of industry trends.

• Work collaboratively across departments to deliver financial insights and facilitate data-driven decision-making.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3–6 years of experience in finance or accounting.

• Strong technical accounting knowledge: proficient with revenue recognition (IFRS 15 / ASC 606), ESOP accounting, accruals, and deferred expenses.

• Familiarity with FP&A tasks: budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

• Advanced skills in Google Sheets and/or Excel; capable of building formulas and automating workflows.

• Preferred: Proficiency in the Dutch language.

• Understanding of Dutch GAAP.

• Chartered Accountant (RA/ACA/ACCA) qualification, or actively pursuing one.
