Senior Finance Executive – AP/AR/GL

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Malaysia.

📋 Description

• Ensure the precise and timely documentation of accounting journals and intercompany transactions in alignment with the Group’s accounting and reporting standards.

• Reconcile bank accounts, intercompany balances, and inventories to uphold data integrity and effective asset management.

• Generate monthly management reports, encompassing consolidation, variance analysis, and Profit and Loss assessments.

• Assist in month-end closings, cash flow variance reporting, and departmental budget analyses to deliver accurate and timely financial insights.

• Provide backup support for the processing of weekly payments.

• Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders (such as auditors, bankers, and vendors) to address financial inquiries and ensure smooth operations.

• Aid in all statutory and regulatory compliance efforts, which include preparing for annual audits, tax computations, and annual XBRL submissions.

• Manage any additional ad-hoc projects or tasks as required.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possess a relevant University Degree or Professional Qualification.

• Have extensive knowledge of accounting and reporting processes, with a minimum of 2-3 years of experience managing a full set of accounts in a medium to large organization.

• Be adept at adopting or exploring automation and AI tools for process optimization and financial analysis.

• Familiarity with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards and Corporate Tax statutory requirements.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Sheets.

• Experience with telegraphic transfers and overseas payment processes is a plus.

• Familiarity with the Xero system is an added advantage.

• Highly organized, detail-oriented, analytical, and capable of working independently.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills in English.
