Senior Finance Analytics Manager – Product & Engineering

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• As a finance analytics expert, you will design and enhance the product finance analytics function.

• Act as a strategic finance advisor to the Chief Product Officer, Chief Technology Officer, and the senior leadership team.

• Lead intricate and ambiguous analytical explorations to identify the factors influencing product growth, engagement, monetization, retention, expansion, and churn.

• Take ownership of the product financial performance management framework.

• Create and sustain dashboards and reporting tools that provide timely and reliable insights into product performance and revenue visibility.

• Write and refine complex SQL queries to extract and transform extensive datasets.

• Develop scalable analytics processes and operational models.

• Ensure adherence to data governance and quality standards within the Finance sector.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or a related discipline.

• 12+ years of experience or 10+ years of pertinent experience in FP&A, strategic finance, finance analytics, or similar fields.

• Advanced SQL skills are essential; familiarity with data warehouses (such as Snowflake) and product analytics is highly desirable.

• Proven experience in architecting product-level financial models, forecasting methodologies, and strategic planning frameworks.

• Proficiency with SaaS financial metrics — ARR, NRR, GRR, churn, LTV, CAC.

• Experience with business intelligence and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker, Power BI).

• Experience in conducting open-ended analytical inquiries.

• Demonstrated capability to function as a strategic thought partner to executive leadership.

• Ability to navigate uncertainty, independently define problems, and devise solutions for complex business challenges.
