This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Chile, +1 more state.
• Deliver finance and accounting services, including controllership, to the business units in Argentina and the Southern Andes.
• Manage and uphold finance and accounting operations in accordance with TNC policies, procedures, and best practices in financial management.
• Evaluate month-end closing activities and perform balance sheet reconciliations.
• Ensure the integrity of accounting records and supporting documentation.
• Oversee cash management and banking functions.
• Guarantee prompt bank reconciliations.
• Supervise accounts payable processes and assist with accounts receivable management.
• Direct the fiscal year-end closing process for both business units.
• Collaborate with external advisors to coordinate local tax compliance activities.
• Manage statutory filings, certifications, and financial regulatory obligations.
• Conduct financial analyses, identify potential risks, and recommend next steps.
• Assist in the preparation and coordination of reports and payroll processes.
• Facilitate internal and external audits.
• Supervise one or more team members.
• Support short-term finance projects.
• Report directly to the Director of Finance.
• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field, along with 3 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination.
• Familiarity with GAAP and fund accounting principles, practices, and regulations.
• Proficiency in using automated accounting systems.
• Working-level proficiency in reading and writing English.
• Bilingual skills in Spanish and English are preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Experience in designing processes for timely and accurate provider payments.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Supervisory experience is preferred.
• Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Experience in non-profit accounting is a plus.
