Senior Finance Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Foster profitable expansion of the VMS portfolio as a commercial finance business partner across Europe, AOA, and LatAm.

• Collaborate with the Senior Finance Director along with Marketing, Sales, Supply Chain, and Customer Supply Chain teams.

• Oversee financial planning and forecasting activities.

• Assist in Monthly Business Planning and trade meetings.

• Assess innovation initiatives through financial modeling and P&L scenario analysis.

• Manage the complete P&L budget, including budget reviews, forecast phasing, budget adjustments, and Price vs. RIG analysis.

• Discover and implement cost optimization opportunities with Finance Operations and Supply Chain.

• Maintain forecast data within the FIT reporting tool.

• Offer guidance on manufacturing costs and product mix strategy.

• Assist with Period End Close activities, variance analysis, financial reporting, and presentations.

• Enhance financial processes and reporting practices.

• Contribute to special projects and strategic initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline is required.

• A minimum of 3–4 years of experience in Finance, FP&A, and/or Accounting.

• Proficient in advanced Excel and financial modeling techniques.

• Familiarity with SAP, BW, and advanced Excel tools, including PivotTables.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Capable of interpreting complex data, identifying opportunities and risks, and effectively communicating insights.

• Solid understanding of product profitability and P&L performance drivers.

• Ability to analyze extensive datasets and present actionable insights succinctly.

• Knowledge of cost accounting principles and activity-based costing methodologies.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

• Experience in a CPG or manufacturing setting is preferred.

• Working knowledge of Nestlé Accounting Standards is preferred for internal candidates.
