• Offer direction and support to the team to achieve established goals.
• Execute installation, troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance on electrical distribution systems.
• Take charge of hands-on project execution, which includes startup, commissioning, troubleshooting, engineering, design, and repair of Power Delivery equipment.
• Oversee outages alongside other field engineers, technicians, and contractors, including project management responsibilities.
• Conduct administrative tasks such as drafting technical reports, ordering supplies, obtaining quotes, preparing job status updates, customer reports, timesheets, and expense reports.
• Plan, prepare, and/or facilitate both internal and external training sessions as needed.
• High School Diploma and 8 years of relevant engineering or field experience.
• Additional formal education may replace required experience on a year-for-year basis.
• Willingness and ability to travel approximately 75% of the time.
• Experience in the repair and refurbishment of LV and MV circuit breakers is preferred.
• Technical expertise in testing, commissioning, startup, and troubleshooting of medium voltage synchronous machines is preferred.
• Candidates must possess work authorization that allows them to work for ABB in the US.
