This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.
• Perform service tasks in accordance with work instructions and following ABB’s quality and safety standards.
• Provide exceptional customer service and carry out service tasks based on customer orders and expectations.
• Maintain customer loyalty by clearly communicating the service work timeline and expectations.
• Conduct field service activities, including diagnosing technical problems and executing on-site troubleshooting within certified areas.
• Carry out installation and commissioning, maintenance, repairs, extensions, upgrades, retrofits, end-of-life services, and replacements.
• Assist in the certification process for Associate Field Service Technicians and Field Service Technicians.
• Mentor technicians and oversee complex site operations.
• Recognize potential new sales opportunities while addressing customer requirements and relay them internally.
• Spot opportunities for product and quality enhancements.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology with over 4 years of experience in servicing critical power equipment, OR an Associate's Degree in electrical technology with more than 6 years of experience, OR a High School Diploma/GED combined with at least 8 years of equivalent work and/or military experience in servicing critical power equipment.
• Proficient in effectively interacting and communicating (both written and verbal) with various levels within the organization.
• Strong collaborative skills to work well with others.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Moderate project management skills using MS Project or Excel.
• Expertise in drafting test plans and reports that detail test outcomes.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines for administrative responsibilities.
