This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.
• Educate clients about all products and services offered by NextGear Capital, including inventory financing (floorplan) and the company's Ancillary Products and Services.
• Acquire a comprehensive understanding of all Cox Automotive products to provide tailored recommendations to clients based on their specific needs.
• Create an assertive sales strategy within a targeted market.
• Build a list of prospects through effective cold calling, lead follow-ups, and referrals.
• Conduct weekly cold calls to establish new relationships for NextGear Capital.
• Promptly follow up on all leads provided daily with a sense of urgency.
• Enhance overall loan volume and utilization by making service calls to existing customers.
• Meet with assigned inactive dealers with the objective of re-engaging clients and increasing the utilization of their Line of Credit (LOC).
• Achieve target performance levels in new applications, loan development, and new business each month.
• Responsible for the initial underwriting of potential NextGear Capital clients before application acceptance.
• Oversee applications throughout the credit evaluation process.
• Manage the contracting and orientation processes for new customers.
• Ensure a positive customer experience and engagement during the first six months of the dealer lifecycle.
• Meet target performance levels in enrollments and sales of NextGear Capital’s Ancillary Products and Services.
• Cultivate a strong relationship with NextGear Capital Portfolio Managers.
• Conduct monthly visits on non-sale days with assigned auction General Managers.
• Expand NextGear’s business opportunities at assigned auctions by developing relationships with auction staff and their customers.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and 4 years of experience in a related area.
• Valid driver’s license required; safe drivers are essential.
• Preferred: 5 years of experience in outside sales and portfolio management.
• Preferred: 3+ years of experience in finance or the auto industry.
• Preferred: Skills in Sales Management (lead development, customer contracting, portfolio growth).
• Must thrive in a high-pressure, results-oriented, and fast-paced work environment.
• Ability to learn the company’s operating and reporting systems, as well as Microsoft SalesForce.
