
Senior Field Sales Representative – Next Gear

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Provide customers with comprehensive information about all products and services offered by NextGear Capital, including inventory financing (floorplan) and ancillary products and services.
• Acquire a broad understanding of all Cox Automotive products to make tailored recommendations to clients based on their requirements.
• Create an assertive sales strategy within a specified market.
• Generate a prospect list through effective cold calling, lead follow-ups, and referrals.
• Conduct weekly cold calls to establish new relationships for NextGear Capital.
• Promptly follow up on all leads provided daily with a sense of urgency.
• Enhance overall loan volume and utilization through service calls to current customers.
• Visit assigned inactive dealers to re-engage clients and boost utilization of their Line of Credit (LOC).
• Meet target performance levels in new applications, loan development, and new business acquisition on a monthly basis.
• Oversee the initial underwriting of potential NextGear Capital customers before accepting their applications.
• Track applications throughout the credit process.
• Handle contracting and orientation processes for new customers.
• Manage customer experience and engagement during the initial six months of the dealer lifecycle.
• Achieve target performance levels in enrollments and sales of NextGear Capital’s ancillary products and services.
• Cultivate a robust relationship with NextGear Capital Portfolio Managers.
• Conduct monthly non-sale day visits with assigned auction General Managers.
• Enhance NextGear’s business opportunities at assigned auctions by building relationships with auction staff and their customers.
• A bachelor’s degree in a related field with 4 years of relevant experience.
• Alternatively, candidates may possess a master’s degree with 2 years of experience, a Ph.D. with 1 year of experience, or 8 years of experience in a related area.
• Safe drivers are essential; a valid driver’s license is required.
• A preferred 5 years of experience in outside sales and portfolio management.
• Preferred 3+ years of experience in the finance or automotive industry.
• Sales management skills (including lead development, customer contracting, and portfolio growth) are preferred.
• Must thrive in a high-pressure, results-oriented, and fast-paced work environment.
• Ability to learn company operating and reporting systems as well as Microsoft SalesForce.
