This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Assist in all stages of clinical research studies, encompassing investigator identification, site nomination, activation, training, enrollment support, and study closure.
• Deliver on-site technical assistance during clinical procedures and initial product implants.
• Assess device performance within clinical environments.
• Act as a liaison among engineering, clinical research teams, and physicians to guarantee proper device utilization and adherence to protocols.
• Oversee study progression and aid sites in ensuring high-quality data collection and documentation.
• Develop and sustain relationships with investigators and clinical teams.
• Offer insights to engineering and R&D teams for product enhancements and new technology initiatives.
• Collaborate with clinical research partners on study protocols, execution, and documentation.
• Provide education to internal teams, sales partners, and customers regarding technology, clinical applications, and best practices, especially during product launches.
• Bachelor’s degree along with 4 years of experience in clinical research, clinical roles, or as a clinical specialist, field clinical engineer, or clinical sales representative.
• Alternatively, an advanced degree with 2 years of relevant experience is acceptable.
• Candidate must reside in the region.
• A valid driver's license is required.
• Willingness to travel 70–75% domestically, with occasional international travel.
• Ability to work across multiple time zones as needed.
• Experience in clinical research, clinical roles, or medical device field roles is necessary.
• For U.S. positions below Principal level, unrestricted U.S. work authorization is mandatory at the time of hire and throughout employment.
• Experience in the medical device industry is preferred.
• Familiarity with managing clinical devices is advantageous.
• Training in neuromodulation or Pelvic Health devices is strongly preferred.
• Background in biomedical engineering, hospital/clinic, or medical sales is preferred.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in clinical research, Good Clinical Practice (GCP), and/or regulatory compliance guidelines for clinical trials is preferred.
• Degrees obtained outside the United States must fulfill the requirements as outlined in 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A).
