Senior Field Applications Engineer – m/f/d

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Establishing essential technical relationships with major accounts, showcasing strong technical credibility to enhance customer confidence in Emerson T&M.

• Gaining a deep understanding of customer technical requirements and assisting in their development.

• Offering insights on software and hardware architectures while guiding customers on the next steps for achieving success.

• Working collaboratively with the Emerson T&M Account Manager(s) as part of an account team to spearhead the development and implementation of the account's technical strategy, contributing valuable perspectives to the overall account strategy and pipeline.

• Coordinating with and updating internal technical stakeholders to carry out account technical initiatives and providing feedback to boost account success.

• Utilizing knowledge of the industry, application areas, and accounts to identify and influence future technical needs and challenges of customers, thereby generating additional technical demand for Emerson T&M products, services, and support.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics).

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in the industry.

• At least 3 years of programming experience.

• Must be willing and able to travel.

• Degree concentration in electrical or computer engineering.

• Proficiency with NI LabVIEW, NI TestStand, and the NI PXI platform, including relevant developer certifications.

• Competency in the English language along with effective oral and written communication skills.

• Advanced proficiency in at least one of the following programming languages: LabVIEW, .NET, Python, C++, C#.

• Advanced skills in FPGA development using VHDL or LabVIEW FPGA.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a customer-facing role.

• Experience in contributing to organizational, account, or engagement strategies.

• Ability to integrate business, operational, and interpersonal aspects into technical engagements.
