Senior Field Applications Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Provide DFM (Design for Manufacturing) and DFV (Design for Value) assistance to customer engineering and design teams for both new designs and the enhancement of existing ones.

• Support drawing evaluations prior to design approval and assist in formulating drawing notes tailored to specific design and manufacturing requirements.

• Collaborate with customers to comprehend and implement HDI/uBGA product specification needs.

• Facilitate the resolution of technical inquiries between TTM’s pre-production engineering teams at the site level and the customer.

• Keep customer design and manufacturing teams informed about TTM capabilities and the technology roadmap through formal presentations.

• Provide manufacturing facilities with insights into forthcoming customer demands, technology needs, and identify any gaps in TTM's ability to meet those future requirements.

• Assist and coordinate with TTM pre-production to develop controlled impedance stack-ups.

• Collaborate with Strategic Account Managers to boost customer revenue by delivering technical support and services.

• Travel to customer locations to facilitate technical discussions, address issues, and engage in key programs as necessary.

• Visit TTM sites to support the design and manufacturing requirements essential for successful execution.

• Develop and deliver technical capability presentations.

• Provide crucial technical inputs for annual Technology Road Mapping and TTM Strategic Planning.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field is preferred.

• Over 10 years of experience in advanced engineering activities pertinent to the PCB industry.

• Intermediate skills in using Valor or Genesis.

• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
