Senior Field Applications Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Establishing essential technical relationships with major accounts, showcasing impressive technical credibility to boost customer confidence in NI.

• Comprehending and aiding in the formulation of customer technical requirements.

• Offering guidance on software and hardware architectures while assisting in determining subsequent steps for successful outcomes.

• Working in tandem with NI Account Manager(s) as part of a team to drive the development and implementation of the account's technical strategy, providing valuable insights into the overall account strategy and pipeline.

• Coordinating with and updating internal technical stakeholders to carry out account technical initiatives and delivering feedback to enhance account success.

• Utilizing industry knowledge, application area expertise, and account insights to identify and influence future technical needs and challenges of customers, thereby generating increased demand for NI products, services, and support.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics).

• A minimum of 5 years of industry experience.

• At least 3 years of programming experience.

• Must be willing and able to travel.

• Preferred degree concentration in electrical or computer engineering.

• Familiarity with NI LabVIEW, NI TestStand, and the NI PXI platform, including developer certifications (preferred).

• Proficiency in the English language along with effective oral and written communication skills (preferred).

• Advanced proficiency in at least one of the following programming languages: LabVIEW, .NET, Python, C++, C# (preferred).

• Advanced skills in FPGA development using VHDL or LabView FPGA (preferred).

• At least 2 years of experience in a customer-facing role (preferred).

• Experience in contributing to organizational, account, or engagement strategies (preferred).
