Senior Field Application Engineer, International Programs

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.

📋 Description

• Assist with international programs, system integration, and field deployment

• Incorporate Persistent Systems products into vehicles and aircraft

• Perform tests, design networks, compile reports, and deliver outcomes

• Convey technical challenges and new requirements to the Engineering team

• Work collaboratively with Sales, Field Operations, Program Management, Engineering, and Quality to offer customer solutions

• Maintain advanced knowledge of Persistent Systems products and interpret and develop customer requirements

• Execute test procedures to ensure integration results align with requirements

• Update management on system integration progress and escalate any issues

• Identify customer concerns, provide relevant information and data, and suggest action plans

• Conduct root cause analysis and work with product development and test engineers to address technical challenges

• Create test plans, methodologies, final reports, and summaries for both internal and external audiences

• Educate clients on system and hardware integration processes, implementation, and usage

• Monitor integration tasks and enhance systems integration to fulfill program requirements

• Define integration strategies and methodologies, scheduling them according to deadlines

• Generate technical documentation for non-technical audiences

• Provide customers with technical updates regarding new products and firmware enhancements

• Develop the technical sections of RFI/RFP responses and other customer requirements

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience with RF communications, network systems, and/or MANET networks

• Expertise in data collection and analysis

• Knowledge in wireless, mobile IP, RF propagation, and both hardware and software concepts

• Proficiency in IP routing, switching, and VPN architectures

• Familiarity with product development and systems architecture design

• Experience engaging directly with customers and end users

• Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills

• Must be willing to travel up to 25% of the time

• Programming skills in Python, C, C++, or Java

• Net+, Sec+, CCNA, or CWNA certifications

• Experience with RF mapping and planning tools like Cloud RF

• Familiarity with MANET, Mesh, Ad-hoc protocols, and web architecture

• Proficiency in Wireshark and/or MATLAB

• Experience in DoD Information Operations and Cyber Security

• Must hold an active Secret US Security Clearance
