Python Application Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain serverless applications that orchestrate data pipelines.

• Synchronize confidential investor information across Snowflake, Salesforce, and various API-driven platforms.

• Architect and deploy intricate multi-step workflows to guarantee data integrity and flow.

• Enhance data transformations and extraction procedures utilizing Python and PyArrow for effective ETL.

• Ensure consistent execution and performance throughout development, QA, and production environments.

• Manage infrastructure as code with Terraform and oversee CI/CD pipelines through GitHub Actions.

• Implement state and caching solutions using DynamoDB for tracking pipeline metrics and execution status.

• Establish and uphold system observability using CloudWatch, DataDog structured logging, and AWS X-Ray tracing.

• Create and maintain reliable REST API integrations with Salesforce, Anduin IDM, and custom endpoints.

• Collaborate within a global network of expertise across various delivery centers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong expertise in Python programming, particularly with PyArrow for efficient ETL and data processing.

• Practical, daily experience with AWS Lambda and AWS Step Functions.

• Proven background in extracting and storing structured data within Snowflake.

• Solid proficiency in Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

• Experience with GitHub Actions for CI/CD.

• Familiarity with managing execution state using DynamoDB.

• Experience in monitoring distributed systems utilizing CloudWatch, DataDog, and AWS X-Ray.

• Extensive experience integrating complex REST APIs, including Salesforce and identity management systems like Anduin IDM.

• Resilience, emotional intelligence, and a focus on agile delivery.

• In-depth understanding of architecting scalable, serverless data pipelines.

• Advanced proficiency in Oral English.

• Advanced proficiency in Spanish.
