This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.
• Oversee the design and implementation of enterprise Salesforce solutions that support Pharmacy Hub operations.
• Act as the technical expert for Salesforce Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Flows, Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and overall platform architecture.
• Establish and uphold development standards, coding practices, security measures, and technical governance.
• Work in collaboration with Enterprise Architecture to advance the strategic roadmap for the Hub platform.
• Create and execute solutions that facilitate patient enrollment, benefits verification, prior authorization, copay programs, patient assistance programs, case management, pharmacy fulfillment, referral management, as well as patient and provider communications, and compliance workflows.
• Propel automation and enhance workflow efficiencies throughout patient access services.
• Lead a team of Salesforce developers and engineers.
• Conduct architecture evaluations, code reviews, and assessments for release readiness.
• Guide engineers in Salesforce best practices, design patterns, and platform functionalities.
• Offer support on intricate technical challenges and manage production support escalations.
• Advocate for Agile development methodologies and continuous improvement efforts.
• Over 8 years of experience in software engineering.
• More than 6 years of direct Salesforce platform experience.
• At least 3 years of experience in leading Salesforce development teams or managing enterprise implementations.
• Proven experience in delivering complex, integration-intensive enterprise systems.
• Familiarity with supporting healthcare, pharmaceutical, specialty pharmacy, patient services, or hub service platforms is preferred.
• Knowledge of Salesforce Service Cloud.
• Expertise in Salesforce Experience Cloud.
• Proficiency in Apex.
• Experience with Lightning Web Components (LWC).
• Skill in Flow Automation.
• Understanding of SOQL/SOSL.
• Knowledge of the Salesforce Security Model.
• Familiarity with Platform Events.
• Experience with REST/SOAP APIs.
• Knowledge of MuleSoft integration patterns.
• Proficiency in CI/CD and DevOps practices.
• Experience with Azure DevOps and/or Gearset.
• Familiarity with Git source control.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies.
• Experience integrating with pharmacy, payer, or healthcare systems is preferred.
• Familiarity with AWS-based architecture is preferred.
• Experience with event-driven architecture is preferred.
