This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Utilize strong research, policy analysis, and writing abilities to aid in the creation of federal rulemaking documents, stakeholder and public comment reports, policy papers, and technical background materials.

• Draft, revise, and format rulemaking documents for federal agencies while developing or adapting style guides for new agency initiatives.

• Offer daily technical guidance to project team members.

• Cultivate client relationships, ensuring satisfaction and working towards the development of long-lasting partnerships.

• Identify client needs and collaborate with others to explore regulatory support follow-on work or new business opportunities.

• Formulate recommendations and prepare reports and presentations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Public Policy, Political Science, or a related field.

• A minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in a government agency, professional services firm, or similar setting; **OR**

• A Master's degree in Public Policy or a related field, or equivalent (e.g., JD, MPA) along with at least 2 years of relevant work experience in a government agency, professional services firm, or similar setting.

• Proven understanding of and experience with the federal rulemaking process (or an equivalent state regulatory process).

• **U.S. Citizenship is required due to federal contract obligations.**

• **Capacity to obtain and maintain a moderate-level government security clearance.**
