Senior Farsi Linguistic QA Tester, Mac M-Series

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Afghanistan, +2 more countries.

📋 Description

• Perform linguistic, stylistic, and functional quality assurance on localized Farsi software interfaces and AI-generated content.

• Detect, document, and address linguistic inaccuracies, visual layout issues, and functional defects utilizing standard issue-tracking processes.

• Uphold project glossaries, style guides, and brand-specific localization standards.

• Assess localized content for cultural relevance, idiomatic accuracy, and appropriateness for the Farsi market.

• Offer constructive feedback and linguistic solutions to remote localization managers and QA leads in clear English.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 2+ years of practical experience in Linguistic QA, software localization testing, proofreading, or professional translation (English to Farsi).

• Native fluency in Farsi with an outstanding command of grammar, typography, and orthography.

• Professional-level proficiency in written English.

• Active access to a Mac computer powered by an Apple Silicon M-series chip (M1, M2, M3, M4, or newer).

• Demonstrated ability to distinguish between critical linguistic errors, cosmetic layout issues, and stylistic preferences.

• Strong understanding of contemporary Farsi cultural nuances, localized language trends, and regional idiomatic phrases.

• Comfortable navigating new software interfaces, adhering to detailed testing instructions, and reporting technical/linguistic issues clearly in English.

• Reliable high-speed internet connection and a dedicated workspace suitable for remote, independent contract work.

• Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to identify minor grammatical, formatting, and UI errors.
