Senior Farm Underwriting Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Underwrite and oversee both new and renewal farm business while fostering profitable growth and ensuring a high-quality portfolio.

• Assess complex risks, policy modifications, and coverage requests, making informed underwriting decisions that align with business goals.

• Collaborate with agents to uncover opportunities, offer underwriting expertise, and cultivate robust business relationships through regular agency visits.

• Implement loss mitigation strategies by evaluating exposures and suggesting solutions to enhance risk quality and minimize loss potential.

• Review portfolio performance, identify trends and concerns, and formulate recommendations to boost profitability.

• Clearly and professionally communicate underwriting decisions, coverage suggestions, and information requirements.

• Work alongside business partners to refine processes, improve service, and promote continuous improvement initiatives.

• Create reports, presentations, and underwriting recommendations that aid in strategic business decisions.

• Engage in quality reviews and underwriting audits to maintain consistency, accuracy, and outstanding customer service.

• Minimum of 4 years of professional experience (preferred).

• Expertise in Agriculture Underwriting.

• Strong Business Acumen.

• Skills in Building Business Relationships.

• Detail-oriented approach.

• Knowledge in Financial Risk Mitigation.

• Familiarity with Insurance Regulations.

• Experience with Insurance Renewals.

• Competence in Insurance Underwriting.

• Quality Assurance (QA) expertise.
