Senior Experience Designer, Platform Data

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, user researchers, and designers to define and deliver exceptional experiences from the initial concept through successful execution.

• Work together with various teams to ensure that design efforts are aligned with related products and platform initiatives.

• Create visualizations and prototypes at different fidelity levels, ranging from high-level wireframes to testable, interactive high-fidelity prototypes.

• Quickly develop and validate experience concepts through internal reviews and direct feedback from users.

• Facilitate and engage in design thinking workshops, brainstorming sessions, and cross-functional collaboration meetings.

• Contribute to and apply design system standards to maintain consistency and coherence across platform experiences.

• Lead design presentations and discussions with a diverse range of stakeholders and audiences.

• Keep close communication with users through interviews, field research, and user events, translating insights into enhanced experiences.

• Investigate user interface trends and emerging technologies, evaluating their potential effects on data-centric user experiences.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of professional experience in user experience design and user research.

• Proven experience in designing complex B2B or technical platform products.

• Strong comprehension of AEC customer workflows and experience designing BIM and 3D applications.

• Familiarity with intricate data management concepts and related design patterns.

• A bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.

• A current portfolio showcasing enterprise UX case studies.

• Strong facilitation skills and the ability to work effectively in complex, ambiguous technical environments.

• Exceptional communication abilities, with a talent for distilling complex ideas and reframing challenges in a clear and optimistic manner.
