Senior Experience Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with various Design, Product, and Development managers to ensure project alignment.

• Work alongside Design and cross-functional teams to maintain the quality, efficiency, and velocity of the Design team to meet organizational needs.

• Cultivate a comprehensive understanding of customer journeys, personas, and segmentation within your project portfolio.

• Convert complex cognitive challenges across multiple projects into sophisticated user experiences delivered through various channels.

• Secure stakeholder backing for designs by effectively communicating the design vision and its rationale.

• Conceptualize, design, and define innovative user experiences, inspired by research, user objectives, and the environment around you.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possesses a robust portfolio showcasing exceptionally crafted desktop and native app designs, along with mobile best practices.

• Holds a minimum of 5 years of experience in desktop and native app design, including expertise in XD and visual design.

• Demonstrates proven capability in driving and delivering designs from initial concepts to market-ready experiences.

• Has 3 years of experience leading design collaboration sessions with a diverse range of stakeholders.

• Exhibits proven experience in defining design direction, articulating rationale to a non-design audience, and successfully advocating for design decisions.

• Proficient in Figma.

• Ability to mentor junior designers.

• Strong understanding of design systems and component-based design.

• Comprehensive understanding of native mobile and responsive web platforms, as well as designing UI solutions for them.

• Familiarity with incorporating AI into the design process.

• Knowledge of user-centered design philosophy and methodology.

• Practical experience with wireframing and prototyping tools.

• Attention to detail and a passion for excellence.
