This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate directly with the CEO to drive strategic initiatives, evaluate risks, and ensure alignment with Drata’s mission and growth goals.

• Anticipate the needs of leadership, eliminate obstacles, prioritize critical issues, and provide necessary information for executive decision-making.

• Develop data-driven briefings, presentations, and materials for executive, internal, and investor meetings.

• Facilitate effective communication among the CEO, executive team, board members, investors, and other external stakeholders.

• Oversee daily operations of the CEO’s office and act as the CEO’s trusted representative during significant periods or transitions.

• Collaborate with Finance and Legal regarding the CEO’s office budget, approvals, and resource distribution.

• Assist with leadership offsites, company-wide meetings, and other high-visibility events.

• Design and execute work plans aimed at achieving company-wide objectives.

• Aid in the creation, monitoring, and analysis of OKRs and KPIs.

• Track departmental milestones and suggest necessary adjustments.

• Lead or contribute to special projects, including M&A, organizational changes, and cross-functional automation efforts.

• Support headcount planning, organizational structure, and onboarding programs.

• Manage agendas for executive staff meetings and ensure completion of pre-meeting tasks.

• Connect teams and translate executive priorities into cohesive action.

• Maintain an active awareness of the current state of affairs and provide timely insights to the CEO.

• Oversee performance reporting and data insights to inform executive decision-making.

• Utilize Slack Workflows, Zapier, and other automation tools to enhance operational efficiency.

• Advocate for continuous improvement and effective change management.

• Draft and coordinate internal and external communications on behalf of the CEO.

• Ghostwrite executive communications and develop strategic messaging in the CEO’s voice.

• Act as a liaison for investors, board members, customers, and media/analysts.

• Manage the CEO’s calendar, expenses, and related expenditures.

• Travel for board meetings, investor events, and leadership offsites, including to the San Francisco headquarters.


⛳️ Requirements

• High emotional intelligence, resilience, sound judgment, and a sense of humor.

• A warm, energizing relationship-builder who gains trust with executives, board members, and investors.

• 8+ years of experience in executive support within a SaaS or high-growth startup environment.

• Direct experience in supporting a CEO or other C-level executives.

• 4+ years of leadership experience in managing business operations or executive support programs across various functions and time zones.

• Experience in supporting board and investor relations with discretion and professionalism.

• Proficiency in building and scaling operational frameworks, including OKRs, organizational planning, and SOPs.

• Proven track record of leading cross-functional initiatives such as M&A, reorganizations, and automation implementations.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to ghostwrite executive communications and develop strategic messaging.

• Practical experience with Slack, Zapier, Claude, ChatGPT, or Glean.

• A strong passion for GRC, cybersecurity, compliance, and Drata’s mission.
