This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +1 more state.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive event strategy that aligns with marketing and sales goals, encompassing global trade shows (including major cybersecurity events such as RSA Conference and Black Hat), conferences, and company-hosted events.
• Plan and execute significant corporate events, including Sales Kickoffs (SKO) and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR), ensuring they align with business objectives and provide outstanding experiences for attendees.
• Oversee the complete planning and execution of Keyfactor’s premier customer conference, including integrated master project planning across all workstreams, defining milestones, managing critical paths, and implementing risk mitigation strategies.
• Manage all aspects of event logistics, including vendor relationships, budgeting, contracts, staffing plans, and timelines.
• Create communications for pre-event and post-event phases, including “Know Before You Go” guides, training for staff and speakers, and follow-up plans for attendees.
• Establish and monitor event KPIs, such as lead generation, pipeline influence, meeting volume, and attendee engagement, to evaluate ROI and guide future strategies.
• Develop scalable event processes, playbooks, and documentation to enhance consistency and efficiency throughout the events program.
• Lead workstreams across Content, Sales, Sponsorship, Brand, Demand Generation, and Customer Marketing, establishing clear ownership, communication rhythms, and reporting structures; collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Product Marketing, Sales, Brand, and Demand Generation) to ensure cohesive messaging, measurable outcomes, and engagement with target accounts before and after events.
• Ensure that booth design, collateral, and digital assets create a unified brand presence and resonate with attendees.
• Define success metrics, analyze performance data, and provide actionable insights to optimize future events and ensure ROI aligns with financial objectives.
• Ensure every event embodies Keyfactor’s brand and mission, creating significant, targeted interactions across both in-person and digital channels that connect with customers, partners, and prospects.
• 6-8 years of event management experience in the cybersecurity, cloud, or data sectors, with a proven history of leading large-scale, multi-workstream programs that demonstrate critical path rigor and measurable business impact.
• Expertise in B2B buyer journeys, lead generation, and Account-Based Marketing strategies for events.
• A self-starter capable of working independently while collaborating effectively across teams; comfortable engaging directly with executives, sales leaders, prospects, and customers to shape messaging, gather insights, and drive pipeline impact.
• Customer-focused, with a strong instinct for crafting high-impact, memorable attendee experiences across both in-person and digital touchpoints; approaches every event as a new opportunity rather than a repeatable template.
• Proficient in event and marketing technology (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Asana) and capable of leveraging AI tools to scale event planning, streamline workflows, and enhance team efficiency.
• Strong program management skills, including the ability to build and manage integrated master project plans, define milestones and critical paths, create executive-ready dashboards and status updates, and ensure accountability across multiple simultaneous events.
• Capable of operating both strategically and tactically in a fast-paced, high-growth environment; creative, adaptable, detail-oriented, with a strong sense of ownership, accountability, and follow-through, and a passion for delivering exceptional attendee experiences.
• Possess executive presence, able to operate effectively in high-visibility, high-pressure environments; exceptional communication skills with a proven ability to influence and build strong relationships with customers, partners, vendors, and senior stakeholders.
• Proactive and solutions-oriented, able to anticipate challenges, identify dependencies early, navigate ambiguity, and remove blockers in high-pressure situations.
• A bachelor’s degree in marketing, event planning, or a related field.
• Willingness to travel up to 30%.
• Second Fridays (a company-wide day off on the second Friday of each month, excluding November and December of 2025 due to the Holiday schedule). Please note that this benefit is subject to change.
