• Take functional ownership of Federato’s events program, leading strategy across various events.
• Oversee field event strategy, encompassing hospitality programs, executive roundtables, owned conferences, and webinars.
• Formulate event strategies that align with marketing, sales, and overall company objectives.
• Develop and enhance the annual event portfolio by identifying new opportunities and phasing out low-impact programs.
• Collaborate with sales, customer success, marketing, product, and executive leadership to define priorities and guide program direction.
• Assess event opportunities and provide clear, data-driven recommendations.
• Manage end-to-end execution of all third-party and field events.
• Oversee budgets, timelines, logistics, vendors, contracts, and the run of show.
• Lead coordination with production partners, agencies, and external vendors.
• Confidently negotiate sponsorships, booth packages, and vendor contracts.
• Maintain strong relationships with conference organizers and industry partners.
• Ensure high-quality execution across all programs consistently.
• Act as the primary accountability point for cross-functional alignment on events.
• Facilitate sales and customer success enablement, including pre-event planning, onsite readiness, meeting coordination, and follow-up strategy.
• Develop clear processes, templates, and playbooks to scale execution effectively.
• Communicate proactively and clearly with all stakeholders involved.
• Take ownership of reporting and performance measurement for the event portfolio.
• Track KPIs such as pipeline influence, engagement, attendance, lead quality, and ROI.
• Provide insights and recommendations for continuous program performance improvement.
• Build and sustain a feedback loop across sales, marketing, and leadership.
• Elevate the event portfolio beyond standard conference sponsorships.
• Introduce new formats, experiential moments, and innovative sponsorship concepts.
• Challenge existing norms and consistently elevate Federato’s market presence.
• 7-10+ years of event marketing experience, preferably in B2B SaaS or a related industry.
• Demonstrated ownership of complex third-party and field event portfolios.
• Experience in leading tiered conference strategies and field programs.
• Strong strategic thinking skills with the ability to translate objectives into actionable plans.
• Exceptional project management capabilities and operational rigor.
• Confident negotiator with experience managing substantial budgets and contracts.
• In-depth understanding of sales enablement and pipeline support through events.
• Data-driven mindset with experience utilizing dashboards, metrics, and reporting tools.
• Highly collaborative communicator with the ability to influence across functions.
• Strong creative instincts balanced with disciplined execution.
• Thrives in a fast-paced, scaling environment with a high degree of ownership.
• Approximately 30% travel required, including some international travel.
