• Provide assistance to the Conferences & Events team at the Foundation for California Community Colleges.
• Work collaboratively with a diverse group of event specialists, technology experts, and event coordinators to effectively support various events.
• Supervise and ensure that all elements of event registration are managed efficiently.
• Develop, oversee, and update Team Calendars, Department Manuals, shared folders, and all records related to events.
• Order, manage, and maintain an inventory tracker for event supplies.
• Aid in the collection and storage of event data for Dashboards and Year-End Reports.
• Oversee the New Event Process, including adding events to all relevant calendars.
• Handle data throughout the registration process, from initiation to closure.
• Manage all registration-related items such as name badges and event materials for in-person events.
• Coordinate the on-site registration desk and welcome guests.
• A minimum of 2 years of relevant client-side experience focused on registration management, attendee services, conference logistics, and event support from planning through execution.
• At least 2 years of experience in supporting a team.
• Experience in Event Registration for both virtual and in-person formats.
• Proficient in using CRM systems to track stakeholder lists; direct experience with Salesforce and/or Cvent is advantageous.
• Preference for candidates with experience in an educational or non-profit setting.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to represent the organization with professionalism and integrity and to foster strong internal and external relationships.
• Capability to organize event details including catering, venue, invitation lists, special guests, technology setup, and promotional materials.
• High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (particularly MS Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel), Google Suite, and Asana.
