Senior Event Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Plan, organize, and execute events from start to finish — including major corporate events, international conferences, and partner-driven activations.

• Collaborate with the team leader to develop and scale our global event strategy.

• Curate event content, manage schedules, and coordinate speakers and keynotes to create engaging and relevant experiences.

• Lead multi-channel event promotion efforts in conjunction with Marketing and Communications.

• Align event objectives and messaging with broader business goals by collaborating cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales, and Product teams.

• Oversee all event logistics including budgeting, scheduling, venue selection, vendor coordination, staffing, and on-site execution.

• Represent Nextcloud at international trade shows, conferences, and partner events.

• Adapt and tailor event formats for various regions, cultures, and audiences.

• Monitor event performance, collect attendee feedback, and consistently enhance future initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in event management, preferably in a global B2B or tech setting.

• Demonstrated success in organizing and executing international events across virtual, hybrid, and in-person formats.

• Strong project management skills with the capability to lead multiple events at the same time.

• A creative mindset and attention to detail in creating exceptional event experiences.

• Ability to work independently and remotely, with outstanding communication and collaboration skills.

• Strong analytical skills to assess the impact and ROI of events.

• Proficiency in English is mandatory; German or French is highly desirable, with other languages considered a plus.
