Senior Estimator – Quantity Surveyor, Civil & Electrical Infrastructure

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Execute comprehensive take-offs of the bill of quantities (BOQ) based on client-supplied drawings and documentation.

• Oversee the entire estimating and pricing process throughout various projects.

• Develop, assess, and enhance detailed cost estimates for both civil and electrical infrastructure projects.

• Ensure that all estimates are precise, consistent, and commercially feasible.

• Utilize Excel-based estimating processes (adaptable based on experience and systems in use).

• Communicate with internal stakeholders to clarify project scope, assumptions, and pricing inputs.

• Work in partnership with the construction team to ensure estimates align with delivery expectations and project strategy.

• Assist in tender submissions by providing complete and well-organized pricing documentation.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of demonstrated experience as an Estimator and/or Quantity Surveyor.

• Strong expertise in:

• - Electrical infrastructure projects

• - Civil construction projects

• Experience with Australian projects is highly desirable.

• Capability to independently manage complete estimating processes from initiation to completion.

• Proficient in advanced Excel functionalities.

• Exceptional attention to detail and a high level of commercial insight.

• Ability to balance technical precision with cost-effectiveness.

• Must possess the capability to work autonomously with minimal oversight.

• Competent in providing support and collaborating effectively with the wider construction and delivery team.

• Strong sense of responsibility for outcomes and accountability for the quality of estimates.
