Senior Estimator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Aids in the sales of company products and services by developing, executing, and managing quotes and proposals.

• Capable of reading and interpreting electrical specifications and drawings.

• Evaluates specifications and job requirements, collaborating with sales, engineering, and operations to identify the most effective solution.

• Compiles cost estimates for materials and labor, leading review discussions with internal stakeholders.

• Employs a CRM tool to oversee all client and quote-related activities along with assigned tasks for the proposal support process.

• Assists in creating technical documents, quotes, schedules, and other necessary submissions.

• Builds and maintains a library of reference materials for preparing proposals, presentations, and technical documents.

• Offers sales and technical assistance to clients and other Qualus divisions.

• Supports sales teams with pre-bid job site visits to gather essential job details for quote development and project execution.

• Conducts order clarification and verification during the transition process to Operations.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5+ years of experience in sales or sales support is preferred.

• Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical specifications and drawings is essential.

• Must be able to communicate with confidence and clarity, utilizing proper English.

• Competence in constructing written proposals with correct grammar is required.

• Familiarity with the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) is necessary.

• Strong interpersonal skills, effective communication abilities, business acumen, organizational skills, multitasking capabilities, and self-management are essential.
