This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Establishes closing requirements by analyzing and clarifying instructions from buyers, sellers, and lenders.
• Examines title evidence to identify necessary curative actions.
• Addresses title defects, ensuring the resolution of existing liens and encumbrances against properties or principals.
• Drafts transaction documents by filling out forms and statements.
• Finalizes closing transactions by compiling documents, reviewing them with involved parties, explaining terms and processes, responding to inquiries, verifying document completeness and accuracy, and securing signatures.
• Closes escrow by generating final settlement statements, recording and filing documents, and managing the balancing and distribution of funds.
• Evaluates training and performance of new and existing employees, providing counsel and rewards as necessary.
• Undertakes any additional tasks as assigned.
• 3-5 years of experience in closing residential purchase transactions within the state of employment.
• Comprehensive understanding of state-specific customs, expectations, processes, and regulations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, and Word).
• Familiarity with client-based systems.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Self-motivated and a positive contributor to team dynamics.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities.
• Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Capability to resolve problems in a growing and dynamic business environment.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.
• Proficient in managing deadlines, timelines, and formulating and executing plans to achieve daily, short-term, and long-term objectives.
• Experience with ResWare is considered an advantage.
• Competitive Compensation: expected base hourly rate ranging from $27.00 to $39.00, depending on skills and experience.
• 20 days of paid time off each year, prorated based on the hire date during the year of employment.
