This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the complete implementation of Infor M3 projects or other initiatives as necessary, ensuring delivery aligns with scope, timeline, and budget.
• Create and manage detailed project plans that include milestones, resource distribution, and strategies for risk mitigation.
• Track project advancement, ensuring effective communication and alignment among cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and clients.
• Administer enterprise-level budgets, proactively tracking actuals against budgets and providing reports accordingly.
• Report project status to both the project team and C-suite executives to maintain a positive client experience.
• Anticipate and address customer concerns, balancing client satisfaction with the best interests of Columbus; managing escalations with professionalism and diplomacy.
• Partner with sales and pre-sales teams to create detailed and precise Statements of Work (SOWs), facilitating accurate estimations of project budgets, timelines, and resource requirements to set realistic client expectations and ensure profitable results.
• Predict and allocate project resources, ensuring optimal usage while reducing resource conflicts.
• Evaluate team performance and offer mentorship and guidance to ensure adherence to project deliverables and quality standards.
• Ensure the project team adheres to Columbus Methodology, producing deliverables that meet standards and timelines; maintain the project plan.
• Review and comprehend the contractual terms and scope of assigned projects.
• Assess key deliverables to ensure alignment between scope and budget.
• Guarantee proper recording of project setup, time, invoice if applicable, and expense entries; conduct reviews of time and expenses.
• 7+ years of experience in ERP project management within an ERP environment.
• 7+ years of managing ERP enterprise implementations is essential, with a strong preference for experience with Infor M3.
• At least 7 years of consulting experience, with leadership experience considered an advantage.
• Strong commercial insight with experience in managing budgets, contracts, and profitability.
• Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities, with the capacity to effectively manage client escalations.
• Prior experience in drafting statements of work, project estimation, and resource forecasting.
• Capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced setting.
• Outstanding interpersonal, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage client and employee escalations with empathy, diplomacy, and fairness.
• Bachelor's degree in business, IT, or a related field.
• PMP certification is preferred.
• Experience in coaching and/or mentoring, complemented by excellent presentation skills.
• Experience working with global project teams and the ability to adjust schedules to accommodate different time zones when necessary.
• Willingness to travel up to 30%.
