This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Design, develop, test, deploy, and provide support for solutions within Epicor Kinetic.
• Convert business requirements into scalable, secure, and maintainable technical solutions.
• Take ownership of the complete technical design, including data flow, business logic, security, deployment, rollback, monitoring, and documentation.
• Assess customizations and technical debt, recommending enhancements or alternatives using standard Epicor functionality.
• Analyze Epicor releases, patches, and Kinetic features.
• Collaborate with teams from Accounting, Finance, Sales, Customer Care, Purchasing, Warehouse, Logistics, Parts, Service, Warranty, and others.
• Lead or engage in discovery and requirement gathering sessions.
• Document functional requirements, technical specifications, process impacts, risks, dependencies, and acceptance criteria.
• Offer technical recommendations and alternatives to stakeholders.
• Coordinate user acceptance testing and secure business approval before production deployment.
• Create and support integrations utilizing REST services, APIs, webhooks, OData, middleware, and secure file exchange.
• Develop BAQs, data extracts, reports, and interfaces while ensuring data integrity.
• Establish logging, reconciliation, alerting, and recovery procedures for vital integrations.
• Adhere to and enhance software development lifecycle practices, including change control, source control, peer review, testing, release, and production support.
• Maintain technical documentation and a record of Epicor customizations, integrations, processes, and reports.
• Act as a senior escalation point for intricate incidents, performance issues, data errors, failed integrations, and production defects.
• Conduct root-cause analysis and implement effective corrective actions.
• Participate in ticket triage while providing estimates and status updates.
• Collaborate with Epicor Support, implementation partners, and vendors.
• Support maintenance, upgrades, deployments, and critical business periods.
• Provide technical guidance, conduct code reviews, establish development standards, and offer mentoring.
• Estimate effort, identify risks, and communicate delivery concerns to IT leadership and stakeholders.
• Contribute to the Epicor roadmap and ERP evaluation initiatives.
• Foster knowledge transfer across the IT team.
• Strong experience with Epicor Kinetic or Epicor ERP versions 10/11.
• Proficiency in BPMs, data directives, Epicor Functions, BAQs, dashboards, reporting, REST services, security, and deployment practices.
• Solid skills in C#/.NET and SQL.
• Experience in designing, debugging, and supporting production business applications.
• Proven ability in building and supporting enterprise integrations using REST APIs, webhooks, JSON/XML, OData, middleware, or secure file-based interfaces.
• Experience in gathering requirements and developing technical designs.
• Familiarity with conducting unit and integration testing.
• Experience in supporting user acceptance testing.
• Experience in managing controlled production releases.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across applications, integrations, data, infrastructure dependencies, and business processes.
• Ability to convey technical issues and solution options to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong sense of ownership, judgment, organization, documentation, and follow-through.
• Preferred experience with Epicor Kinetic SaaS/cloud environments, Application Studio, Epicor Automation Studio, and upgrade-readiness practices.
• Preferred experience in supporting manufacturing, distribution, inventory, order management, purchasing, service, warranty, finance, or field-service operations.
• Preferred experience with EDI transactions and trading-partner integrations.
• Preferred experience with SSRS, Power BI, Azure services, source control, DevOps pipelines, and structured release management.
• Preferred knowledge of financial controls, audit requirements, role-based security, segregation of duties, and data governance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
• At least seven years of ERP development experience, including a minimum of five years of hands-on Epicor ERP development and support experience.
• Epicor certification or comparable advanced Epicor implementation experience.
• Availability to participate in scheduled maintenance, production deployments, or urgent issue resolution outside of normal business hours.
• Occasional travel to other LaundryLux offices in the US as required.
