This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
β’ Assist with environmental permitting for a variety of projects spanning the Energy sector, state infrastructure, federal initiatives, and industrial domains.
β’ Implement regulatory permit requirements throughout Massachusetts and other states in New England.
β’ Conduct and facilitate public presentations.
β’ Collaborate effectively within a team setting.
β’ Engage in project and client travel, as well as attend project and site meetings.
β’ Contribute to projects related to electric transmission, generation, renewable energy, state infrastructure, federal sectors, and industrial activities.
β’ BA/BS degree in Environmental Science, Biology, or a related field, along with 8 years of relevant experience, or a proven equivalent of experience and/or education.
β’ Experience in environmental permitting.
β’ Familiarity with projects in Massachusetts and other New England states.
β’ Knowledge of the Massachusetts Wetlands Protection Act Regulations (310 CMR 10.00), Sections 404/401 of the Clean Water Act, MEPA, Chapter 91, and associated land-use regulations.
β’ Capability to attend and lead public presentations.
β’ Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
β’ US citizenship is mandatory.
β’ Possession of a valid driver's license.
β’ Must successfully pass AECOM's Motor Vehicle Records evaluation.
β’ Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
β’ Proficiency in computer skills.
β’ Preferred: 12+ years of permitting experience and MS expertise.
β’ Desired background in wetland science, policy, and land-use regulations.
