
Senior Enterprise Systems Engineer – Cloud & AI

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Architect & Innovate: Design, develop, and sustain scalable cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP), utilizing a strong product mindset to build robust, scalable APIs and backend services that support our mission-critical, self-service application platforms.
• Automate Everything: Advocate for and enhance our Infrastructure as Code (IaC) strategy using Terraform, guaranteeing that our intricate cloud environments are automated, repeatable, and resilient.
• Ensure Peak Performance: Foster a culture of reliability by creating and executing comprehensive observability solutions (monitoring, alerting, dashboards) to track and enhance key performance indicators (KPIs) such as DORA metrics and system uptime.
• Lead Incident Response: Act as a pivotal leader in diagnosing and resolving production issues, minimizing impact and ensuring high levels of service availability through systematic troubleshooting and decisive actions.
• Collaborate & Empower: Work closely with other teams to design elegant, efficient solutions that fulfill business objectives, and provide expert advice to improve monitoring and operational processes across the organization.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Over 5 years of progressive experience managing scalable cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP), with extensive expertise in containerization and orchestration for applications operating in Kubernetes.
• More than 5 years of hands-on experience managing large-scale environments using Terraform.
• At least 5 years of profound expertise in architecting and managing CI/CD pipelines with modern tools like GitHub Actions (or Gitlab, Tekton, etc.).
• Strong skills in scripting and automation using languages such as Python or Bash, including experience with driving Copilot or Cursor.
• A detail-oriented, problem-solving approach with a proven ability to troubleshoot complex technical challenges under pressure.
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, capable of documenting sophisticated systems and thriving within a cross-functional, Agile team.
• A proactive, ownership-driven mindset, committed to maintaining high service availability and continuously enhancing system resilience.
• A foundational understanding of AI concepts and their practical applications within a modern infrastructure context.
