This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Overseeing the complete pre-sales lifecycle, starting from the initial discussions, demos, proof of value (POV), request for proposals (RFP), competitive analysis, and supporting post-sales dialogues.
• Engaging with various stakeholders, both internally and externally, including partners, customers, sales teams, product management, and leadership.
• Creating, executing, and refining technical sales processes and methodologies.
• Promoting best practices while staying updated on emerging API and web application cybersecurity challenges.
• Serving as the technical and API security specialist for our clients and partners.
• Participating in and presenting at numerous events, along with producing high-quality solution design documents.
• Possess experience in technical sales roles that are customer-facing and quota-carrying, including Pre-Sales, System Engineering, Solution Consulting, and Solution Architecture.
• Have a background in cybersecurity, with knowledge of APIs, Web Application Firewalls (WAFs), and web application security.
• Exhibit a thorough understanding of internet fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, HTML, and SSL protocols.
• Showcase outstanding interpersonal abilities, including the capacity to brief prospects, analyze data, and interact effectively with customers.
• Demonstrate experience in deploying and managing Kubernetes clusters and containerized applications.
• Be familiar with Kubernetes networking, ingress controllers, and service mesh technologies (e.g., Istio, NGINX).
• Communicate proficiently through emails, RFPs, and reports while possessing excellent presentation skills.
