This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop reports and dashboards to visualize data effectively.
• Execute database queries and assist in maintaining data quality assurance and ETL processes.
• Act as a senior SAS/Tableau developer in a data warehousing initiative.
• Retrieve data from relational databases, EDW, and Foundry for comprehensive analysis.
• Collaborate with operational business stakeholders to pinpoint initiatives and implement data-driven strategies.
• Conduct quality assurance for reports and dashboards, ensuring data accuracy and thorough analysis.
• Align business needs with appropriate data and analytical solutions.
• Detect issues within existing processes and business dependencies.
• Organize and lead requirements gathering sessions throughout the discovery, analysis, value validation, design, and testing stages.
• Collaborate with functional analysts and business process owners to generate ideas.
• Track changes in business operations and propose enhancements to analytics.
• Develop Tableau Standard Operating Procedures for peer reference and knowledge sharing.
• Guide and instruct clients on tools and techniques for comprehensive analytics solutions.
• Bachelor's degree with 7 years of experience in Business Intelligence development, analytical roles, or a combination of both.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in an analytical position.
• An active BI or NACLC Public Trust security clearance is required.
• In-depth SAS development experience, including proficiency in SAS/Macro, Data Step, and SAS/Access.
• Strong skills in SQL.
• Experience in Tableau development.
• Familiarity with Enterprise Guide and Enterprise Miner/SAS Data Mining procedures is an advantage.
• Experience in quality assurance and validation, comparing various data sources for discrepancies and inconsistencies.
• Proficiency with Jira for task management.
• Solid understanding of Agile methodologies.
• Excellent conceptual, analytical, and decision-making abilities.
• Capability to collaborate, mentor, and train clients effectively.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, adaptable environment and quickly learn new tools.
• Strong communication and writing skills.
• Demonstrated leadership qualities and proactive thinking.
• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Applicants must indicate whether they currently possess an active Public Trust clearance or a higher level of security clearance.
• At least 5 years of SAS development experience is mandatory.
