Junior Data Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collect, clarify, and document both business and technical requirements.

• Create reports and dashboards utilizing Zoho Analytics, Power BI, and similar tools.

• Write and manage SQL queries effectively.

• Clean, transform, and prepare datasets for analysis or system integration purposes.

• Ensure data quality by identifying anomalies, missing information, and logical inconsistencies across systems.

• Develop entity relationship diagrams, system maps, and architecture documentation using tools like Lucidchart.

• Provide screen-share walkthroughs and concise documentation to enhance client understanding and facilitate internal collaboration.

• Engage in client projects and contribute to internal tools related to reporting, data modeling, system migrations, and analytics development.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in spreadsheet applications such as Excel or Google Sheets.

• Basic knowledge of SQL, including data querying, table joining, filtering, and aggregation.

• Familiarity with or enthusiasm for analytics tools like Zoho Analytics and Power BI.

• Excellent communication skills for articulating thoughts, posing questions, and collaborating effectively.

• Detail-oriented and self-motivated, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Experience in data cleaning or ETL processes is advantageous.

• Familiarity with R or Python is a plus.

• Understanding of fundamental statistics or machine learning concepts is a bonus.

• Previous experience with the Zoho ecosystem is a plus.
