This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as the company's Subject Matter Expert in healthcare provider data, overseeing a dataset comprising over 10 million practitioners and healthcare organizations.
• Detect and rectify data discrepancies to guarantee the accuracy and completeness of provider profiles.
• Establish and uphold data quality standards for healthcare provider information.
• Lead the analysis and integration of healthcare datasets obtained from claims data, public records, and third-party vendors.
• Convert raw provider data into actionable insights that influence business decisions.
• Recognize trends and anomalies impacting healthcare operations.
• Supervise end-to-end workflows related to the ingestion, processing, exception resolution, and delivery of provider data assets.
• Assess data for accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
• Collaborate with product management and technical teams to address data quality challenges.
• Contribute to the establishment of data validation rules and quality control processes.
• Monitor healthcare industry trends, provider network modifications, mergers and acquisitions, and regulatory updates.
• Provide insights into the provider data landscape to cross-functional teams.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support business requirements and company goals.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Management, Data Science, or a related discipline is required.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in healthcare data management, ideally with a focus on provider data management, is required.
• Comprehensive understanding of healthcare markets and provider information, including licensing and credentialing, provider networks and affiliations, and claims/revenue cycle, is required.
• Proficiency in standard data management tools and IDEs, including the ability to write SQL queries, is required.
• Data management or healthcare analytics certifications are preferred.
• Familiarity with AWS or Google Cloud is preferred.
• Experience with Python or R for data scripting is preferred.
• Prior experience in a healthcare technology startup environment is preferred.
