This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the architecture and modernization of our enterprise application ecosystem.
• Create target-state architectures and standardize application programming interfaces (APIs).
• Enhance event-driven patterns utilizing Redpanda.
• Develop robust integrations among internally developed applications, Salesforce, Sales Cloud, Data Cloud, and Marketing Cloud.
• Foster an active relationship with Jesus Christ and support the ministry through prayer and actions.
• Define, design, and implement a target-state enterprise application architecture that aligns with the organizational strategy.
• Lead the design of solutions for the application technology stack.
• Set SOA and EDA standards, including event schemas and reusable design patterns.
• Design secure, scalable, and optimized integrations.
• Produce technical documentation and comprehensive work descriptions for new features, collaborative projects, and architectural & system design modifications.
• Configure and optimize Redpanda clusters for maximum performance and resilience.
• Advocate for security-by-design, observability, CI/CD, DevOps, and cloud-native best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical roadmaps.
• Minimum of 10 years in software engineering/architecture, with at least 5 years in enterprise architecture.
• Practical experience with PHP (Laravel), React, PostgreSQL, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
• Strong expertise in SOA/EDA, Kafka or Redpanda, and API-first architecture (REST/GraphQL).
• Extensive experience integrating with Salesforce Sales Cloud, Data Cloud, and Marketing Cloud.
• Background in developing ETL/ELT, CDC, batch/streaming pipelines, and data quality/lineage methodologies.
• Experience in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform/CloudFormation.
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong skills in security, performance engineering, DevOps, and documentation.
