This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Cultivate and maintain executive-level relationships with targeted accounts (e.g., VPs of R&D, Chief Information Officers, and Innovation Leads) in collaboration with your Field Engineer partner.
• Build a strong pipeline across IonQ’s comprehensive offerings, including Quantum Computing, Quantum Networking, Quantum Security, and Quantum Sensing.
• Assess opportunities based on end-user use cases and their long-term strategic alignment with IonQ’s roadmap.
• Manage all stages of the sales lifecycle, from initial relationship development and technical qualification to RFP responses, high-stakes negotiations, and closing deals.
• Ensure the wider organization’s support to effectively pursue opportunities throughout the sales lifecycle.
• Collaborate with Customer Success after a sale to guarantee high satisfaction, encourage renewals, and uncover chances for additional revenue.
• At least 10 years of experience in Enterprise sales with quota-carrying responsibilities.
• Demonstrated success in closing multi-million dollar infrastructure or platform contracts.
• Proven capability to sell "off-budget" or "future-state" solutions that do not yet appear as standard line items in IT or R&D budgets.
• Skill in navigating unique procurement processes.
• Experience in selling high-performance computing (HPC), AI infrastructure, or complex software solutions that drive business results.
