This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee a designated portfolio of intricate client accounts.
• Execute collections processes and procedures.
• Investigate and address billing or payment inquiries within set turnaround times; escalate issues as necessary.
• Reconcile accounts receivable with third-party administrators, brokers, and clients.
• Organize conference calls or meetings with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Investigate member eligibility and rate discrepancies.
• Analyze client data utilizing reports and other resources.
• Manage group renewals, new business, terms, and modifications.
• Periodically reconcile accounts.
• Calculate and generate special charge bills.
• Monitor delinquency reports and liaise with TPA partners.
• Conduct peer audits to ensure quality and mitigate financial risks or exposures.
• Meet or exceed daily and quality performance goals.
• Track and assess customers’ financial performance using suitable tools.
• Resolve customer disputes and rate issues with matrix partners.
• Identify and implement process improvements alongside matrix organizations.
• Utilize accounting concepts effectively.
• Prepare monthly and ad hoc reports.
• Deliver internal and external customer service.
• Process, review, and comprehend inputs from various systems.
• Offer support for special projects.
• Carry out electronic invoicing.
• Apply financial payments to accounting systems.
• Perform filing and general administrative tasks.
• Provide cash-team support, including cash and census applications and mailings.
• A High School Diploma or equivalent experience is mandatory; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a billing, accounting, or collections role.
• Proficiency in 10-key data entry.
• Strong expertise in Excel.
• Familiarity with Genasys, SAP, and PCRS systems is preferred, or a quick aptitude for learning new applications and systems.
• Knowledge of Microsoft applications.
• Ability to demonstrate effective problem-solving skills.
• Capability to manage time and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Ability to multitask and adjust priorities as necessary.
• Capacity to work independently and take initiative.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills along with organizational abilities.
• Exhibit leadership and motivational skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• A home internet connection through cable broadband or fiber optic service with a minimum of 10 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload speed when working remotely.
