This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Engage with brokers and accounts to address payment discrepancies and unpaid invoices in order to resolve outstanding receivables.
• Process and rectify external entries as necessary.
• Investigate payment shortfalls and reconcile pending invoices.
• Disburse excess payments on true-up invoices.
• Independently review and interpret sold documentation to complete billing setup.
• Handle manual billing processes and explore alternatives for automating manual tasks.
• Prepare monthly updates for management reporting.
• Maintain file documentation and system diary notes diligently.
• Process disbursements and make corrections on true-up invoices.
• Oversee correction activities until resolution is achieved.
• Fulfill task book assignments as required.
• Recognize and respond to customer needs proactively.
• Execute other assigned duties as necessary.
• Contribute to the organization's quality initiatives.
• A high school diploma or GED is mandatory.
• A minimum of two (2) years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or insurance-related billing is required.
• In-depth knowledge of billing systems is essential.
• Comprehensive understanding of data flows for medical bill reviews and other charge-to-file processes is necessary.
• Extensive knowledge of insurance programs, claims, and their effects on outstanding receivables is required.
• Proficient understanding of loss processing flows and claim-based processing flows is crucial.
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills, including presentation abilities.
• Proficient with PC, including Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong organizational capabilities are necessary.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
• Capacity to meet or surpass Performance Competencies.
• Availability from Tuesday to Saturday, 11 am to 8 pm EST.
