This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Lead the development of strategy, roadmap creation, and implementation across various Cisco Secure Client product domains.
• Establish direction across product areas and ensure alignment of decisions within the larger portfolio.
• Define investment priorities for the next 18–24 months, focusing on AI, connectivity, security, identity, manageability, user experience, and zero trust capabilities.
• Integrate customer value, technical direction, and company objectives to inform actionable roadmap choices.
• Work closely with engineering, sales, support, experience teams, and other product managers.
• Provide guidance on business plans, product marketing strategies, and success metrics.
• Outline packaging, bundling, and positioning within the overall solution framework.
• Support teams in navigating architecture, customer impact, and market trade-offs.
• Spearhead customer validation across various segments, develop partnerships, and manage strategic accounts.
• Leverage customer insights to enhance product-market fit and pinpoint adjacent opportunities.
• Serve as a trusted guide and advocate for the product among customers, partners, and internal collaborators.
• A minimum of 5 years of industry experience in software engineering, cybersecurity, cloud, IT, or product management.
• Proficiency with desktop and mobile software applications.
• Experience in customer engagement, including converting enterprise customer requirements into product strategy and roadmap decisions.
• Background in product management.
• Bachelor's degree plus 8 years of relevant experience, or Master's degree plus 4 years of relevant experience, or PhD plus 3 years of relevant experience.
• Strong understanding of AI, security, networking, identity, endpoint management, and zero trust technologies.
• Preference for candidates with knowledge in endpoint security.
• Experience in leading product strategy for desktop and mobile software at a platform level is preferred.
• Ability to influence cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
• Experience serving as a trusted technical advisor for engineering teams and leadership.
• Expertise in developing comprehensive product strategies for competitive analysis and market validation across multiple customers and products.
