This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee and enhance a team dedicated to CI/CD, service lifecycle tools, and developer experience.
• Propel execution towards defined priorities with consistent, high-quality outcomes.
• Foster robust engineering practices in the areas of reliability, testing, and observability.
• Cultivate a culture of ownership, continuous improvement, and practical decision-making.
• Optimize build and deployment processes to enhance speed and minimize friction.
• Promote the use of standardized deployment patterns across services.
• Streamline and modernize delivery infrastructure while ensuring stability.
• Guarantee that systems remain scalable, secure, and resilient.
• Facilitate self-service workflows for service creation, deployment, and platform integrations.
• Minimize manual coordination, support requests, and dependence on tribal knowledge.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to pinpoint pain points and prioritize impactful improvements.
• Contribute to the engineering portal as the primary interface for service lifecycle management.
• Integrate observability and operational standards into delivery workflows.
• Ensure systems enable safe, auditable, and predictable releases.
• Mitigate toil and enhance system health through targeted improvements.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in engineering management.
• At least 7 years in software engineering, DevOps, or platform engineering.
• Strong technical expertise in CI/CD systems, cloud infrastructure such as AWS, and distributed systems.
• Capability to define clear team charters and execute swiftly and cohesively.
• Proven history of hiring, mentoring, and retaining high-performing engineers.
• Leadership focused on execution with a history of reliable delivery.
• Technical acumen to guide architectural choices and trade-offs.
• A systems-thinking approach concerning reliability, scalability, and developer experience.
• Strong ability to collaborate across functions.
