Senior Engineering Manager – Integrations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.

📋 Description

• In the role of Senior Engineering Manager for our Integrations team, you will oversee multiple engineering squads, nurturing and developing fellow Engineering Managers while taking full responsibility for the performance, delivery, and expansion of one of Traild's most critical business areas.

• High-quality integrations with leading ERP platforms are vital to Traild's success and serve as a key differentiator in our product offerings, supported by strong partnerships with ERP providers.

• You will direct delivery and growth results across a globally dispersed team, with engineers located in Australia, South Africa, Southeast Asia, and North America, tackling technically complex challenges involving APIs, data, and distributed systems.

• You will be accountable for the technical direction, architectural quality, and engineering standards within your group, proactively setting high expectations.

• Develop and sustain the systems, playbooks, and feedback mechanisms that enable your teams to be efficient, dependable, and self-sufficient.

• Collaborate with Product and Engineering leaders to define, resource, and deliver outcomes across a globally distributed team.

• A seasoned engineering leader experienced in managing other managers and overseeing outcomes across multiple squads in a dynamic product environment.

• A solid technical background in backend and distributed systems, with the capability to set direction and transparently discuss trade-offs, rather than merely validating engineers’ proposals.

• An effective and confident communicator who can align stakeholders, simplify complexity, and maintain a consistent stance across product, engineering, and business domains.

• A coach and mentor who recognizes how individuals develop, actively invests in emerging talent, and addresses underperformance with care and directness.

• A leader with an AI-first mindset and a genuine curiosity about leveraging new tools to enhance the quality and efficiency of engineering work.
