This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• The Senior Engineering Manager is responsible for overseeing delivery, engineering quality, and team performance across various development teams.
• You will take charge of execution in complex, data-driven systems, ensuring that teams provide secure, scalable, and compliant solutions.
• Functioning as both a people leader and a technical expert, you will drive results in a high-pressure, regulated setting.
• Collaboration with Product, Design, Security, and CMS stakeholders is essential to align engineering efforts with program priorities.
• You will influence engineering practices, enhance delivery predictability, and cultivate high-performing teams.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in software engineering.
• At least 4 years in roles focused on engineering management.
• Proven experience in leading multiple Agile teams within complex environments.
• Extensive knowledge of cloud platforms, particularly AWS.
• Experience in delivering large-scale data-intensive systems and pipelines.
• A comprehensive understanding of CI/CD, DevSecOps, and contemporary engineering practices.
• Demonstrated ability to enhance delivery performance and team effectiveness.
• Strong skills in stakeholder management and communication.
• Experience in operating within regulated environments or government programs.
• Preferred Qualifications:
• Familiarity with CMS or federal healthcare programs.
• Understanding of healthcare data standards such as HL7 FHIR.
• Experience with Databricks, large-scale data processing, or analytics platforms.
• Knowledge of security compliance frameworks like FedRAMP or NIST.
• Experience in managing distributed teams.
• Understanding of accessibility standards (Section 508).
