This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Lead projects and initiatives that have a widespread scope and significant impact on the business.
• Collaborate with various cross-functional teams and customers to deliver innovative solutions addressing steam turbine-related challenges.
• Create robust, cost-effective solutions to guarantee safe and reliable operation of equipment that meets customer requirements.
• Support the Engineering Request workstream, primarily engaging in occasional Root Cause Analysis investigations.
• Oversee the implementation of projects and initiatives.
• Take ownership of the technical resolution for multiple complex issues related to steam turbines.
• Mentor and train colleagues in your areas of expertise and experience.
• Serve as a facilitator and proactively encourage collaboration across functions.
• Provide leadership in coordinating and presenting at technical conferences and other customer-facing events.
• Lead cross-functional teams in conducting Root Cause Analysis for non-conformances related to GE equipment.
• Communicate fleet and product issues into the New Product Introduction (NPI) process and at all levels of GE leadership.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or experience in steam turbine field installation/maintenance.
• Master's degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Proven expertise in steam turbine design, installation, and/or maintenance.
• Self-motivated individual with initiative and interpersonal abilities to lead projects.
• Capacity to work effectively within teams and articulate requests and requirements clearly.
• Strong skills in team building.
• Ability to foster relationships throughout the organization to cultivate loyalty and commitment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Proven project management skills.
