Field Service Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Accountable for the installation, repair, and maintenance of Onto Innovation products, encompassing Metrology and Inspection tools.

• Install new equipment across the European region.

• Perform both Engineering and Applications responsibilities.

• Address tool malfunctions within Europe and respond to maintenance requests as necessary.

• Supply required documentation and feedback to the US factory when needed.

• Offer feedback to the sales team as required.

• Assist in identifying potential leads for future sales opportunities.

• Provide Applications feedback to facilitate ongoing product enhancement.

⛳️ Requirements

• Preferred experience in Field Service within the Semiconductor industry.

• Prior knowledge of equipment fault detection.

• Proficient in electrical, mechanical, and software disciplines.

• Preferred background in Semiconductor applications.

• College or university degree, or extensive professional experience in engineering/E&I.

• Capable of working independently while collaborating within a team environment.

• Exceptional interpersonal and customer communication abilities.

• Proficient in utilizing all Microsoft Office applications, including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.

• Willingness to travel frequently throughout Europe, approximately 40% of the time.
