This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.
• Operate within the hospital radiology setting to assess and resolve imaging equipment problems while executing necessary repairs.
• Conduct Preventative Maintenance on assigned equipment.
• Execute safety and environmental inspections to ensure adherence to Health and Human Services and Environmental Health and Safety regulations.
• Fulfill required service and repair documentation in accordance with hospital protocols and GEHC policies and procedures.
• Maintain regular communication with customers to guarantee issue resolution and appropriate follow-up, enhancing customer satisfaction.
• Acquire and ensure the correct usage of tools and testing equipment while maintaining calibration standards.
• Improve and sustain technical knowledge of current standards, codes, and procedures related to the safe and effective operation of medical equipment.
• Collaborate with and support seasoned technicians on advanced repairs and problem-solving, contributing as part of the local team to deliver efficient service to all accounts within the designated area.
• Complete all scheduled Quality and Compliance training within the established timelines.
• Identify and promptly report any customer quality or compliance issues to the Quality Organization.
• Be aware of and adhere to the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and relevant laws and regulations applicable to this job type/position.
• AS, BS, or MS degree, military education, completion of a certificate program, or current student nearing graduation within 12 months OR a High School Diploma/GED coupled with 6 months of experience in servicing electronic, IT, or mechanical equipment.
• Must possess reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is mandatory.
• Prior experience in interpreting schematic diagrams and performing effective repairs and planned maintenance on basic biomedical or electronic equipment.
• Strong analytical and communication skills with the ability to convey technical issues to customers in a comprehensible manner.
• Capability to develop and sustain positive customer relationships.
• Experience collaborating with both internal team members and external customers as part of a solution-focused service process.
• Understanding of electronic digital circuitry along with knowledge of electronic and electro-mechanical devices.
