Senior Engineer, Offensive Security

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• The Senior Offensive Security Engineer is responsible for designing, coordinating, and managing initiatives at both the program and team levels that aim to replicate the actions of threat actors and rigorously evaluate Humana’s defenses, response capabilities to adversaries, and security measures.

• Develop agentic offensive tools and produce high-quality software and AI agents.

• Conduct penetration tests, covering network, web application, cloud, and infrastructure assessments.

• Confirm the effectiveness of security measures in collaboration with our defensive counterparts.

• Execute red-team operations and evaluate the enterprise's AI systems throughout their automated workflows.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in offensive operations: at least 4 years in positions such as Red Team, Penetration Testing, Purple Team/control validation, or Bug Bounty, demonstrating a history of delivering comprehensive engagements: scoping, implementation, and clear written reports.

• Proficient in production Python engineering: you create and maintain real tools rather than just one-off scripts.

• Experience with agentic AI: actively designing, building, or managing AI agents or LLM applications, including agentic workflows, tool/function-calling, and orchestration.

• Practical experience in testing AI/ML systems: including prompt injection, jailbreaking, and adversarial techniques.

• Proficient in cloud technologies: hands-on experience with at least one major Cloud Service Provider (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
