Senior Engineer, Business Intelligence

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Address intricate business challenges and issues by utilizing data from both internal and external sources.

• Oversee large datasets and devise solutions to meet reporting needs.

• Conduct root cause analyses on production-related bugs.

• Adhere to standard Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes and agile methodologies within a team environment.

• Foster internal and external partnerships to develop efficient solutions for data, systems, and application utilization.

• Act as a technical mentor and resource for other developers and engineers.

• Review newly reported bugs, and participate in grooming and sprint planning activities.

• Identify reporting requirements and ascertain how to achieve the desired outcomes.

• Create and maintain strategic reports derived from multiple databases.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience with relational databases and advanced T-SQL skills.

• 3-5 years of experience in developing Power BI reports, with proficiency in M, SQL, and DAX languages.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in the healthcare revenue cycle is essential.

• At least 1 year of knowledge and/or experience with ETL processes and Azure data warehouse concepts.

• Proficient in advanced Vertipaq, DAX Studio, and Tabular editor.

• Strong understanding of advanced SQL concepts and validation review between data sources and report outputs.

• Experience in developing and maintaining APIs.

• Exceptional communication, organizational, planning, problem-solving, analytical, judgment, and research skills.

• Must be curious and open to innovation, including artificial intelligence (AI).
